Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items following specific recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen area.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and communication.
Learn and assist in other areas of the kitchen, including food prep for other menu items, as directed by the Cafe Lead.
Contribute to menu ideas and participate in kitchen inventory management.
Requirements:
Passion for food and a keen interest in learning culinary skills
Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and organizational skills
Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not necessary
