Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales technical support for the development of products, applications and solutions for our customers.
• To work closely with sales team, vendors and partners to ensure optimum systems and solutions are provided to the customers.
• Provide quick and yet thorough responses to customers’ Request For Proposal (RFP), generate technical design and solutions proposal based on technology and our product offerings to meet or exceed customers’ needs.
• Lead the technical compliance team in response to RFP and be the overall architect to validate solutions involving multiple products.
• To provide technical expertise to sales team and customers through presentations, product demonstrations and periodic updates.
• Provide consultation to prospective customers and perform Proof of Concept (POC) testings and solution evaluation.
• Work with post-sales team to ensure solution is delivered as proposed.
• Maintain rapport with customers and manage vendors effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networks, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Vendor certification such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Aruba or VMWare will be advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in presales and solutioning.
• Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility, initiative, urgency and commitment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products.
• Ability to lead customer meetings and conference calls.
• May be required to work after office hours when required.
• Experience in designing large enterprise and service provider networks.
• Good working knowledge in any of the following:

> AI & machine learning

> LAN, WAN, STP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, Multicast and IPv6

> IP, Ethernet, OTN, DWDM and SONET/SDH, IPoDWDM

> Data Center, Virtualization, Cloud Computing, SDN and NFV

> Wireless LAN technologies wireless security

> Network security such as firewalls, UTM, IPSec VPN, SSLVPN, token-based authentication, intrusion prevention system, data encryption and PIN verification system

> Secure web gateway, advanced threat protection systems, URL filtering

> Application delivery controller (ADC) and load balancer, WAN Optimisation system.

> Antivirus, Antispam, DDoS protection system, DLP and DPI

> DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) solutions

> Network automation tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet

Linux/Unix system configuration, administration, shell scripting and programming languages such as Java or Python

> Broadcast technologies such as RF and terrestrial broadcast transmission system, TV broadcast headend, TV transmission station and IP broadcasting. Experience in coverage planning and coverage prediction will be an added advantage
