Job Description

  • Research and explore new learning challenges/problems that students will face using Generative AI
  • Research challenges/difficulties/concerns educators face when using Generative AI for teaching and learning
  • Develop ideas to overcome challenges with teaching/learning using Generative AI – either in the form of learning activities or assessments
  • Test run experimental learning activities/assessments with students to collect feedback and insights
  • Propose novel ways of collecting data and insights from AI-based learning activities and assessments, and help to analyse data from the test runs
  • Develop training resources and materials to educate the NUS community on the use of AI in education and research
  • Conduct and/or facilitate sharing sessions on teaching and learning with AI with the NUS community.
  • Design focus group and survey questions, lead the studies, and evaluate the results to help AICET better understand the needs of the community.
  • Run data analytics of the AICET website and its upcoming online resources to evaluate the efficacy/engagement of the resources and provide strategic insights on how best to deliver them to the NUS community.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other disciplines relevant to the scope of pedagogical work (e.g. a Master of Arts is sufficient for pedagogy work relevant to supporting education in the humanities and social sciences)
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience
  • Has a track record for innovation
  • Good communication skills (English: written and spoken).
  • Strong inter-personal, time management and organisational skills.
