· The Sales and Business Development Executive / Assistant Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. + Essential Job Functions

· Acquire New Clients and Cultivate Revenue: Focus on acquiring new customers while also nurturing and expanding revenue opportunities from current accounts. This involves a 70% focus on prospecting new leads and a balanced effort in upselling to existing clients.

· Transform Leads into Profitable Business: Convert a minimum number of prospects into profitable business relationships.

· Quotation and Bid Management: Handle the preparation of quotations, requests for quotations (RFQs), tender bids, and rate reviews.

· Sales Reporting: Provide weekly updates on sales progress to management.

· Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and surpass set sales targets by generating revenue and contributing to the company's gross profit.

· CRM Management: Keep detailed records in the CRM system, including customer information, sales visits, and progress.

· Identify and Register Opportunities: Spot potential customers and identify opportunities to offer supply chain solutions that drive revenue.

· Negotiation and Profit Maximization: Negotiate terms with accounts according to pricing guidelines to maximize profit margins.

· Timely Customer Follow-Up: Ensure prompt and professional follow-up on customer communications.

· Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations: Work closely with customer service and operations teams to execute customer quotations effectively.

+ Education and Experience

· Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and Management or a discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

· At least 2-3 years of working experience in forwarding or logistics company in a Sales/Business Development role.

· Excellent understanding of pricing strategies and pricing mechanisms.

· Must be a result oriented commercial professional and have a proven track record of significant sales results and driving business growth through effective sales strategies.

· Well-developed business sense (Business Acumen).
