Main Responsibilities:

Market Access Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement market access strategies for the company’s pharmaceutical products to ensure timely and broad access.
  • Align market access strategies with corporate goals and therapeutic area priorities.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in pricing, reimbursement, and access.

Pricing & Reimbursement

  • Develop pricing strategies that reflect the value of the products and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
  • Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers to health authorities and payers.
  • Negotiate with payers and healthcare authorities to secure favourable pricing and reimbursement terms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, regulatory bodies, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and support market access initiatives.
  • Represent the company in meetings with government officials, healthcare organizations, and industry associations.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure all market access activities comply with local and international regulations and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in the regulatory landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with commercial, medical, regulatory, and clinical teams to align market access strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Participate in product development and lifecycle management discussions to ensure market access considerations are integrated.
  • Coordinate with global and regional market access teams to leverage best practices and insights.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze market access performance metrics and key indicators.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on market access activities, outcomes, and market trends to leadership team.
  • Use data insights to refine and optimize market access strategies.
  • Utilize health economic models and outcomes data to support pricing and reimbursement negotiations.
  • Develop and present value propositions and economic evaluations to internal and external stakeholders.

Training & Support

  • Provide training and support to internal teams and hosted distributors on regulatory requirements and processes.
  • Develop and update regulatory SOPs and guidelines to ensure best practices

Regulatory Affairs Reporting

  • Prepare and present regular reports on regulatory activities, submission status, and upcoming deadlines to senior management.
  • Ensure that regulatory databases and systems are kept up-to-date and accurately reflect current regulatory status.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of market access processes, pricing strategies, and reimbursement systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in health economics and outcomes research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient in project management and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
