The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions across multiple regions, e.g., Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of HR principles, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing and Administration

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursement, compliance with relevant local regulations.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory payments and claims.
  • Work closely with payroll vendor for overseas payroll processing and administration.
  • Generate payroll reports and provide payroll-related data and analysis to management, HR, audit and finance departments as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance with payroll-related issues, including salary inquiries, tax and etc.

HR Administration:

  • Manage HR administrative tasks, such as employee records management, and HRIS maintenance, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administer employee benefits programs enrolment and cessation.
  • Oversea the renewal process for local and overseas work passes and contract renewal within the group.
  • General HR administration and ensure proper documentation and records
  • Assist and support in various ad-hoc HR projects/ activities

Training and Development:

  • Manage training application/ administration and submission of grants/ claims
  • Maintain and update training records
  • Coordinate training programs and supporting the development and implementation of training initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in HR or related roles.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
