This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Country by building the guardrails for strategic store and merchandise planning and designing a framework for all cross-functional activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting/Buying
    • Drive the strategy and development of seasonal growth plans incl. macro quantitative analysis via input from Retail Head and SEA Merchandising Director.
    • Develop pre-season financial plan by store at category level via input from Retail Head and align the sales mix with SEA Merchandising Director.
    • Develop the pre-seasonal merchandise plan reflecting Open to Buy (OTB) in order to drive together with the Merchandising Managers SEA the definition of an optimal Intake Budget.
  • Stocks :
    • Monitor products launch by collection to stores fortnightly through tracking arrivals of new articles
    • Maintain and constantly improve process of inventory movement between the stores, factory outlet and the warehouse through replenishment and rebalancing.
    • Define and coordinare pre-season markdown and terminal stock targets per category / merchandising unit.
    • Cross-functional support in monitoring store stock cover and store fulfilment pre, in and post season and highlight concerns to the Retail Head and SEA Merchandising Manager.
  • Drive store capacity planning processes and design databases for all stores and provide information to SEA Senior Merchandising Managers on option and range count plan at category level.
  • Support Merchandising Department for all Store Openings/ Closings/ Remodels and ensure effective coordination of all these projects.
  • Support the department on liaison with Marketing team, GTM team, Retail team on developing design, visual presentation and layout of structures and key elements to include.
  • Monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products.
  • Supporting new ranges build to SEA Merchandising manager.

Requisite Education and Experience

  • University or College Degree in Business Administration, Management or Marketing
  • 2-3 years ‘experience in Retail Merchandising/ Category Management
  • Industry experience in Sports/Fashion/FMCG.
