ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

This position is responsible for managing the allocation and replenishment process for retail stores to ensure proper initial merchandise assortments, quantities, and sizes by stores to meet the company's objectives in achieving sales, inventory management and profitability. Collects, evaluates, and analyzes all relevant data for designated markets of business.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

  • Creating and executing the allocation plan by incorporating seasonal strategies, weekly allocation, analysis of sales and market trends, store inventory levels, demographics, store capacity, sell-through rates, buying quantities & finance targets.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams on new collection implementation strategy (planned delivery cadence) at the beginning of the season and provide weekly updates.
  • Perform analytics and identify opportunities and actions based on the insights to identify profit opportunities.
  • React to in season trends by door to ensure floor sets models are being adjusted appropriately based on each store’s performance through Allocation tools and analytics.
  • Completing analytics to support balancing stock within stores and across channels as needed.
  • Reviewing Out of Stock Report, slow productivity products and generate action plan to improve stock availability, productivity, achieve sell through targets, and reduce overall markdown exposure.
  • Reviewing production order status to understand inventory status issues (overstocks, late deliveries, short shipments) with potential impacts & raise concerns.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify in season growth opportunities and minimize down-trending business.
  • Ensuring smooth transitioning between campaigns, flows, seasons and minimize end of season stock; decrease stock levels from slow seller to increase store sell through and minimize returns.
  • Support and assist the Buyers during seasonal buy cycle, data preparation etc.
  • Generating and reviewing in-season and post-season analytics that could help hind-sighting and improve future buy.
  • Participate in the continuous effort to improve the allocation process and strategies. Support the implementation of new systems and raising efficiencies to ensure processes enhance workflow and optimize inventory to achieve financial plans.
  • Setting and maintaining data in POS systems, BI and Allocation tools.
  • Support ad-hoc duties and projects when required.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • Minimum 6 years retail experience (allocation or buying) in footwear & apparel industry.
  • Retail operations and product (apparel or footwear) exposure to key markets in Asia preferred.
  • High level of accuracy, good analytical skills, and attention-to-detail to analyze, ability to interpret high amount of data and determine the implications. Strong fundamentals in Retail Math.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, BI tools. Experience with Allocation and Replenishment systems software a plus.
  • Uses analytics to problem solve.
  • Able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully.
  • Good organizational skills to complete course of action in a structured, organized, and efficient manner.
  • Good communication skills to facilitate resolution of allocation issues.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration with cross functional teams and with all levels of employees.
  • Strong at prioritizing workload and with a flexible attitude to change in priorities.
  • Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improvement.
  • Interest in continuously learning by actively seeking opportunities to increase knowledge and new skills.
