Summary:

The HR Assistant Manager, Shared Services, is responsible for providing comprehensive support across the full range of HR functions, including HRIS, HR reporting, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, performance management, and policy development. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate must have experience in creating HR policies and be well-versed in HR operations, systems, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company objectives.
  • Provide support for all HR functions, including compensation and benefits, employee communications and engagement, performance management, learning and development, and welfare programs.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues in SAP and coordinate with IT personnel to identify and resolve system problems, ensuring system integrity.
  • Conduct system customizations, functional testing, and process improvements to enhance HRIS capabilities.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes and drive internal training and knowledge sharing across the HR team.
  • Participate in HR projects, plan and prioritize workloads to ensure resources are allocated to key HR processes, and meet agreed service levels.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and workforce trends, providing insights to the leadership team.
  • Safeguard employee data by ensuring compliance with data protection policies, maintaining the accuracy of employee records, and managing employee insurance and leave programs.
  • Advise Business Units on HR matters, ensuring timely and accurate guidance on all HR processes and policies.
  • Collaborate with management to introduce HRIS enhancements, process improvements, and redesign efforts to increase operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies, including adherence to employment legislation and company regulations.
  • Oversee ad hoc HR projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations, with proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP HR and HRIS systems.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly proficient in handling numerical data and generating reports.
  • Experience in process redesign, change management, and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment-related legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
