The Project Director (Show and Ride) is responsible for leading the comprehensive development of major attraction projects at Resorts World Sentosa, focusing on show and ride components. This role involves managing all aspects from planning and budgeting to design, construction, and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and guest experience standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Development & Management: Lead all phases of project development, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and commissioning. Ensure all documentation, including RFIs, directives, submittals, and punch lists, is meticulously maintained for successful project execution. This role involves significant decision-making authority over major attraction projects, aligning project execution with company goals and key performance indicators.
  • The Project Director (Show and Ride) will manage a team of creative, technical, and managerial professionals, overseeing strategic decisions and cross-functional collaboration to achieve project objectives.
  • Contractor & Specialist Management: Oversee the selection, contracting, and performance of contractors, vendors, and fabricators. Ensure alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and timelines while managing all external communications and deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of Creative Directors, Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers. Provide mentorship and foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Creative & Design Management: Manage the creative and design processes, working with internal teams and external consultants to ensure all design phases meet creative goals, budget, and schedule.
  • Budget & Schedule Oversight: Ensure projects remain within approved budgets and schedules. Provide regular updates and maintain comprehensive documentation for senior management.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Additional Duties: Execute other responsibilities as required to ensure project success and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in managing large-scale projects in theme parks, entertainment, hospitality, with proven skills in managing complex teams, budgets, and timelines. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong track record in delivering large-scale projects from concept to completion.
