As a Senior Assistant Manager, Strategic Procurement, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement operations, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation, and driving cost savings.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborating with the Procurement Lead to manage specific procurement categories.
  • Managing day-to-day supplier interactions and ensuring high supplier performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyzing procurement data and generating reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensuring procurement processes comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the implementation of new technologies within the procurement function.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the procurement team.
  • Working closely with the procurement team and other departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational needs.
  • Assisting in managing communications with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Procurement Lead in leading and mentoring junior team members.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree Equivalent Qualification; or Equivalent professional procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with multiple competing priorities and manage projects effectively.
  • A good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proactive in pursuing learning and development.
