Summary:

The APAC Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager (BA/PM) will drive the Malaysia e-invoicing regulatory implementation project. This role includes overall project management, requirement analysis, testing, and stakeholder coordination across Global Markets, Global Banking, and Procurement clusters.

The BA/PM will serve as a key functional expert, ensuring the successful execution of SIT, UAT, and production activities, while collaborating closely with various teams to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project activities and provide front-to-back coordination.
  • Lead requirement analysis, testing, and test strategy for Global Markets, Global Banking, and Procurement clusters.
  • Oversee SIT, UAT, and production activities.
  • Work with development teams on BRD, development follow-up, and testing.
  • Define Integration, Testing, Verification, and Certification (ITVC) activities, data architecture, and API strategy.
  • Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and legal requirements.
  • Drive change management processes with Operations and other departments.
  • Act as the functional expert and SPOC for business lines across APAC.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and clients.
  • Focus on improving end-to-end efficiency within processes.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for target processes, with an emphasis on innovation and digital solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 15-18 years of experience in Investment Banking, with expertise in project management and IT delivery.
  • Proven experience in front-to-back project management and business analysis in complex environments.
  • Strong hands-on product knowledge, especially in Capital Markets (FICC instruments such as FX, Rates, Options, and derivatives).
  • Exposure to booking, P&L risk, post-trade functions like settlements and accounting.
  • Experience working in international matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Previous experience in e-invoicing projects or IT transformation initiatives is highly desirable.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Functional expertise in Capital Markets, Booking, Risk, Post-Trade, and PNL Management.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple regions.
  • Experience working with tools such as Reuters, Bloomberg, and e-invoicing applications.
  • Strong focus on achieving results and delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of investment banking products and CIB business.
