[What the role is]

This is a contract position until 31 Mar 2026 as an Executive in The Sandbox.

[What you will be working on]

Pollinate is a joint Polytechnic incubator initiative by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). The joint incubator is home to diverse industries in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, serving as a platform for cross-collaboration on innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, facilitating partnerships between industry, polytechnics, ITE and the start-up community. Pollinate supports acceleration and growth of entrepreneurship efforts of polytechnic/ITE students, staff and alumni entrepreneurs. We are looking for individuals to grow Pollinate as the incubation centre for budding entrepreneurs.

As an Incubator Executive at Pollinate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Operations Support

  • Oversee the onboarding and graduation processes for start-ups, including the application process, issuance of leases, and rental payments

Office Administration

  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the Incubation office facilities

  • Update occupancy records periodically

  • Manage asset inventory and maintain administrative records

Financial Administration

  • Handle procurement, payments, claims, and billing processes efficiently

  • Conduct periodic reviews of operational expenditures and revenue projections

Data Collection and Reporting

  • Monitor start-up progress and assist in data collection and tracking for annual reporting.

Event Management

  • Support the team in organizing talks, workshops, and other events in or outside of Pollinate.

Visitor and User Assistance

  • Attend to visitors and address user queries at the incubator’s front desk.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 2 years of work experience in community, social media and/or event management in a quality-conscious and service-oriented environment.

  • Experience in project management and working with internal and external stakeholders which includes staff, students and the public.

  • Work experience in marketing and/or within the government sector would be an advantage.
