We are looking for a Accounting and Asset Management Intern to support and manage our company's financial operations and investment strategies. You will work closely with our finance team to support cash management, liquidity planning, and investment analysis. Interns will have the opportunity to:

  • Acquire hands-on experience in accounting management, enabling you to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and enhance your analytical skills.
  • Work directly with private banks and financial institutions to manage the latest investment tools and stay updated on market news, gaining insights into advanced financial practices and technologies.

The day-to-day activities

Accountancy and Treasury Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the monthly closing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), meticulously recording transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform bank reconciliation to validate financial data and maintain precise records of cash flows.
  • Actively participate in budgeting exercises to support strategic financial planning initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze financial data to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare monthly payroll for approximately 10 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist in the application process for government grants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Engage in effective communication with private banks, funds, and other financial institutions to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Attend meetings with private banks and funds to discuss financial strategies and investment opportunities.
  • Gather data on capital market products to support informed investment decisions and optimize portfolio performance.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Learn about various aspects of the business operations, including Drug testing, Alcohol testing, Infectious Disease Kits, and Medical Device Regulatory Affairs.
  • Act as the frontline ambassador, handling customer inquiries via email and phone.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to guarantee the safe handling and transfer of products.
  • Assist in the processing of government tenders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support in coordination and facilitation of drug testing sessions.

Tackle diverse operational tasks as they arise, playing a vital role in optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of our business.
