Summary:
The position will work with the Project and Asset Management team to provide support for relocation and Projects to provide dedicated and timely service support to Customer.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct site inspection of relocation sites, co-ordination with customers, partner with Logistics team to ensure equipment are professionally secured and packed for delivery.
• Handle and Coordinate with 3P vendors to support various services (verification, calibration, preventive maintenance (PM), qualification, repairs).
• Provide metrology services to customer's equipment with in-house SOPs with timely calibrated and maintained tools.
• Respond as per on-site service request guidelines to ad-hoc Service requests triggered by Laboratory End Users within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Identify and recommend customers appropriate inventory type and quantity of inventory supply of critical equipment service parts, verification/calibration/PM kits and service tools replacement to minimize instrument downtime and budget planning.
• Ensure customer’s consumables and chemicals inventory under the Inventory Management (IM) program are sufficiently stocked to their needs.
The Specialist will also need to ensure accurate documentation creation, management, updates and tracking of services rendered in this program, using in-house Asst Management system in the following areas:
• Training
• Service Reports of all equipment and calibration tools for all services performed and update asset information.
• Vendor Qualification Review
Skills/Qualifications:
• A Diploma in science or engineering, preferably in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or related fields with good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software and systems.
