Presto Studios’ was founded in August 2013 – A music school where music education will always be a warm and nurturing learning experience. Till today, we have nurtured thousands of students using our teaching methodology, providing them with the most nurturing music environment as they experience the love of music at Presto Studios.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant manager to manage our music school in a retail setting. We look forward to having that individual to join our team and play a key role in managing operations, human resources, and sales and marketing functions.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the music school to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain effective systems for class scheduling, facility management, and equipment maintenance.

2. Human Resources:

  • Assist in the recruitment, training and onboarding of new staff as well as monitoring staff performance.
  • Support in scheduling and managing staff assignments.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

3. Sales and Enrollment:

  • Asssit in developing and implement sales strategies to drive student enrollment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to achieve enrollment targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and parents.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and collaborate with other departments in product ordering.

4. Customer Service

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Address customer enquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
5. Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the retail team.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate and analyze sales and operational reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Implement strategies to improve performance based on report findings.
7. Financial Management:
  • Assist in budget planning and management.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Contribute to the development of financial goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, human resources, and sales.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the music education industry is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
