Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and challenges
Provide technical consultation to customers, offering solutions that align with their operational goals
Scout, develop and obtain leads with new customers to develop sales in your assigned territory
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
Develop detailed quotes and proposals, addressing customer needs and specifying technical requirements
Liaise with customers, end-users and purchasers to introduce the company’s service capabilities
Drive the sales of services to existing and new customers with equipment sold by the company
Act as a point of contact for post-sales support, troubleshooting and sales of service
Participate in all company-participated trade shows and seminars in Singapore and abroad
Educate customers on equipment features, benefits, and maintenance requirements
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams to ensure proper usage and understanding of products
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the equipment sales and service industry
Strong understanding of vacuum pump technology or other technical equipment
Proficiency in technical sales and solution design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Required to support regional customers in Southeast Asia (30-40%)
