Our client, an iconic global brand in the beauty and personal care industry, is seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager (APAC) to join its regional hub in Singapore. This brand is driven by a strong purpose and has a wide presence across APAC markets. In this pivotal role, you will lead some of the most significant markets in the APAC region, enabling commercial excellence, brand consistency, and strategic growth. Reporting directly to the Head of APAC, you'll work with high-impact in-country business partners including leading retailers, distributors, and market operators.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and strengthen key partnerships with APAC market leaders, driving profitability, market expansion, and ensuring strategic alignment with global brand objectives
  • Own market performance by analysing KPIs, tracking trends, and implementing initiatives that enhance business outcomes across diverse regional markets
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, using market data to enhance retail and wholesale performance and grow market share across various APAC territories
  • Spot growth opportunities across diverse markets, using data to pinpoint ways to increase retail and wholesale sales and grow market share
  • Negotiate impactful deals with in-country market operators, ensuring win-win for bot the brand and these business partners

Key requirements

  • More than 8 years of experience in key account management, ideally within the beauty, consumer goods, or retail sectors, overseeing large-scale regional or multi-market portfolios
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume portfolios (100+ points of sale) across multiple APAC markets, consistently delivering commercial success
  • Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics and the complexities of navigating diverse regulatory, cultural, and commercial environments
  • Strategic thinker and skilled negotiator, adept at influencing senior stakeholders and driving long-term growth through meaningful partnerships
  • Highly data-driven with a sharp focus on using analytics to inform business decisions, set KPIs, and implement strategies that drive performance
  • Ability to travel extensively across APAC, providing on-the-ground leadership and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners
