Our client is in the Building Contractor, headquartered in Singapore and has a strong presence globally. They are looking to fill the role of M&E Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee detailed M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) coordination with specialist contractors.
  • Work with BIM modelers, coordinators, and project engineers/managers from various M&E contractors.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of Combined Services Drawings (CSD).
  • Manage and oversee testing and commissioning of M&E works.
  • Supervise subcontractors, production planning, and ongoing site construction progress.
  • Lead meetings on coordination, progress, and variation discussions.
  • Assess M&E contractors' progress and variation order claims.
  • Hold design and coordination meetings with clients' representatives and architects.
  • Monitor and ensure timely project completion while liaising with consultants on project matters.
  • Coordinate with internal project teams, subcontractors, and address site and quality concerns.
  • Ensure contractual requirements are adhered to, track variations, and feedback cost impact to the Project Manager.
  • Implement cost control measures to meet the project budget.
  • Collaborate with QAQC Engineers to ensure quality meets customer expectations.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in working drawings and maintain inspection records.
  • Ensure environmental and safety measures are followed per the Project Quality Plan and EMS.
  • Resolve construction and installation issues in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related building disciplines.
  • 8-10 years of experience in building and construction projects.
  • Proficient in BIM model software such as BIM 360, REVIT, and other related platforms

  • Location: East
  • Working days: 5.5 Days
  • Salary: Up to S$8,000 / Negotiable and Bonus (salary will be commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
