Responsibilities:
Perform Monthly management accounts closing and prepare appropriate financial statement at quarter and year end
Prepare monthly Finance Trade book PnL and balance sheet schedules
Prepare Inventory reconciliation
Posting internal AR/AP Transactions
Prepare government surveys and other ad hoc duties.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Prepare and coordinate financial schedules for Quarter and year end Audit
Documentation of processes and review of existing processes for enhancement.
Provide support to senior management on cost and revenue analysis, key performing indicators and trend analysis
Liaise directly with HQ (ATC) on submission of key performance reports
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 5 years’ of prior Accounting or Finance experience in a trading environment
Prior audit experience in Big 4 is preferred
Some tax knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles GAAP & Mark to Market (MTM)
Proficient in MS Excel/SAP
Good team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Meticulous and a strong team player
