We are looking for a Merchandiser to promote the sales of goods instore or online. The candidate will plan how products will be displayed to highlight hot items and exclusive offers.
Responsibilities
• Oversee several stores to make sure all items are available and well-organized
• Conducts market research to identify best merchandising practices and manage competitive pressures
• Planning and developing merchandising strategies
• Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of products
• Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake
• Planning purchases/orders
• Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers
• Carry out procurement work such as products selection, identify order quantity, and cost control
• Making predictions based on sales data, customer feedback and market trends
• arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
• Collaborate with different department in special promotion, events and any other sales campaigns
• Preparing reports and providing feedback on sales performance and competitor activities
Requirement
• Diploma or degree in Retail Management/Sales or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in e-commerce, sales, or merchandising
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management abilities, including planning and prioritizing workloads
• Effective strategic planning, both for the short-term and long-term
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
