Responsibilities

  • Perform critical inspections and quality evaluations at site or manufacturing plants.
  • Conduct both destructive and non-destructive testing to detect non-conformance issues.
  • Identify causes of quality rejects and follow through with corrective actions in complex non-conformance cases.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to address difficult quality problems.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications, including customer and vendor standards.
  • Assist production teams during the start-up phase of new fabrication processes and authorize the commencement of production.
  • Calibrate and set up measuring instruments for inspection activities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to other inspectors when necessary.

Requirements

  • Certificate or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience in quality control, welding, or non-destructive testing.
  • Strong background in welding or non-destructive testing, with specific qualifications in these areas preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience with conducting quality tests and inspections using various methods.
  • Competence in identifying and analyzing non-conformance issues and providing corrective solutions.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with engineers and production teams.
  • Experience with calibration of measuring instruments for inspection purposes.
