Position Overview

The Automotive Sales Manager will lead the sales team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales process, from customer acquisition to closing deals, and ensuring that sales targets are met. This position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and a passion for sustainable vehicles. The Sales Manager will also work closely with marketing, aftersales, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and achieve business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base for NEV products.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align promotional activities with sales goals.
  • Ensure that sales processes are efficient, customer-focused, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Collaborate with aftersales and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer journey.
  • Participate in customer events, exhibitions, and test drive sessions to promote NEV products and generate leads.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to the sales team, ensuring they are up to date with the latest products and sales techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in automotive sales.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with a preference for experience in the NEV or electric vehicle sector.
  • Proven track record of success in leading sales teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
  • Passion for sustainable transportation and a commitment to promoting the benefits of NEVs.
