This is one of the world's largest and leading commodities trading company, with Singapore serving as its key Asia Pacific trading centre. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre credit analyst to support a high performing Oil and Gas trading team.

Role

Reporting to the Global Credit Lead, the Credit Risk Analyst will own the credit risk management function, performing credit and forward-looking business analysis on a diverse portfolio of counterparties ranging from large corporates to smaller trading counterparties.

He/ She will also serve as a key business partner to develop and execute business unit strategies and goals in the region and play a significant role in addressing queries from external stakeholders including but not limited to banks, trading counterparties. Other BAU tasks will also include monitoring, assessing and reporting credit risk exposure positions.

Requirements

The successful candidate is degree qualified in a business/ finance discipline with at least 2-3 years' regional counterparty credit experience gained in Commodities trading or global banks ideally in energy trading. You have strong business partnering, problem solving, analytical and change management experience. You will also be described as possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.
