Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Food Ingredients)
  • Position Title: Purchasing & Inventory Executive
  • Working Location: Bishan
  • Working Hours: 5 days (8.30 AM – 5 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Check suppliers’ confirmation orders against our PO issued.
  • Monitoring of shipping departure and arrival dates of standard POs.
  • Monitoring of arrival of indent orders and sample requests.
  • Maintaining the timetable of shipment arrivals.
  • Prepare monthly marine cargo insurance declaration.
  • Provide monthly ETA schedules to the guardhouse for FCL arrival.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks on a selected list of stock items to ensure the accuracy of stock position.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team on inventory discrepancies; rectification will follow.
  • Prepare a monthly clearance list for items with a shorter shelf life (after physical check).
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Managing Director’s review and Finance.
  • Update SAP with adjustments on non-sales inventory issuance e.g. samples issued, damages, etc.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience is required
  • Knowledge of SAP & Incoterms will be advantageous
  • Candidates who have prior working experience in the food industry will be an added advantage
