Our client, one of the biggest technology companies in Asia, is seeking a visionary Director of Brand and Creative Strategy. You will lead a team of over 40 creatives across 4 countries to drive brand alignment and recognition through your creative strategy & innovation.

In this role, you will get to:

Develop Creative Strategy & Innovation

  • Develop and execute creative strategies aligned with the company's goals and brand vision.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions for innovative ideas across marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.
  • Explore new technologies, including generative AI, to enhance creative production.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, integrating insights to maintain a competitive edge.

Lead teams & Brand Management

  • Build a collaborative, high-performing team culture that fosters creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members, identifying their strengths and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure creative output aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Guide the evolution of the brand identity while supporting overall business growth.

Project, Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Oversee multiple projects, managing timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely, high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, sales teams, and regional offices across Southeast Asia to align creative efforts with business objectives.
  • Present creative concepts to senior management, clearly articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Establish KPIs to evaluate creative project performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners, ensuring consistency and alignment with internal efforts.

You'll be successful if you have:

  • 10 years of experience in design, marketing or advertising in fast-growing startup.
  • 5 years in a leadership or management role with proven experience in building and managing diverse high-performing creative teams
  • Extensive experience leading creative teams, including designers, copywriters, motion graphic designers, and other creative professionals
  • Excellent ability to conceptualize and develop creative strategies
  • Ability effectively translate business goals into compelling brand communication.
  • Strong expertise in maintaining brand identity, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and visual representation across all touchpoints.
  • Exceptional time management and resource allocation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • A track record of successfully presenting and selling creative ideas to senior leadership, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging media technologies and tools, including generative AI, to enhance media production and streamline creative processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners, ensuring their work meets internal standards and aligns with business goals.
