Details of the Division and Team:

You will be part of Investment Banking Operations team responsible for to provide regional and global Middle Office support for the Commodities business in APAC as well as engagement in new business rollout. We are engaged in trade capture functions and lifecycle events in addition to designing front-to-back processes to ensure standardized process across the region with robust controls in place to adhere to Global policies and operating standards in the bank.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Primarily supporting the Global Commodities business in Singapore relating to FX and Derivative settlements of precious metals transactions, including tech enhancements of systems, implementing controls processes in relation to regulatory changes or new control requirements, standardizing processes in the region

  • Perform and analyze end-to-end processes for area of improvements for better automation

  • Key contact point to resolve client issues and queries

  • Taking part in new business initiatives & NPAs/NTAs

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Middle Office role in Commodities in financial services industry

  • Proven product knowledge in Base Metals and Precious Metals, including OTC Derivatives

  • Proven experience in managing projects on new product initiatives

  • Proven understanding of physical commodities

  • Proven organizational and communication skills; role will be interacting with both desk heads, regional and global operations leads

  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a wider regional team

  • High personal motivational levels

  • Proven Excel and Power Point skills

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
