Overview

As a Beauty Advisor, you hold a dynamic role at the intersection of sales and customer service. Your primary objective is to provide personalized beauty consultations, drive sales and foster a positive shopping experience. Additionally, you play a crucial part in influencing fellow Beauty Advisors and Cast Members to promote and sell Kendo Brands effectively.

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience required
  • Sales driven and enjoys a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong make-up application skills including the ability to present product application and accurate information to a wide audience
  • Multilingual: Preferrable English, Mandarin. (Korean/Japanese is also a plus!)
  • Strong interest and knowledge of skincare and solving customer concerns
  • Willingness to work retail shifts on weekends and public holidays
  • Customer service and people oriented
  • Keeps up to date with the latest innovations and brands in skincare and make-up
  • Organized, able to track and report sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • High standard of personal grooming

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement and Sales

  • Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable products.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by actively promoting and upselling products.
  • Utilize product knowledge to educate customers on features, benefits and application techniques.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns and product related questions with professionalism.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by offering after-sales support and conducting follow-ups.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain a positive shopping environment.

2. Influencing and Collaborating

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Kendo Brands, embodying its values and promoting its unique selling points.
  • Collaborate with other Beauty Advisors to create a cohesive and unified approach to brand promotion.
  • Provide guidance and training to fellow Beauty Advisors on the features and benefits of Kendo brands and products.
  • Conduct Teach Back sessions at least once a quarter to ensure that Cast Members are up to date on Kendo brands and products and initiatives.
  • Guide and orient new cast members/part timers about Kendo brands and products and promotions.

3. Stocks and Inventory Management

  • Ensure brand visual merchandising guidelines is followed in-store at all times.
  • Alert HQ team on stock levels, report slow/fast moving products.
  • Ensure there is enough display and testers on all gondolas.

4. Brand Promotion

  • Implement strategic initiative such as postings on KendoKlub Instagram to increase visibility, know-how and sales of Kendo brands and products.
  • Support and execute creative promotional events or demonstrations to enhance brand awareness.
  • Actively engage with customers to build brand loyalty and advocate for Kendo brands and products.
