Job Overview:

As the Founder’s Associate, you will work closely with the Founders on a variety of high-impact projects, providing strategic, operational, and administrative support. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to the strategic decision-making process at Farmio and to make tangible contributions to the company’s growth. You will act as the Founder’s close working contact, helping to drive key initiatives that align with our mission of transforming the fresh produce supply chain through innovation and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Work alongside the Founder to execute business strategies aimed at scaling Farmio’s operations across Asia. Assist with business model refinement, growth planning, and technology integration.
  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to projects that automate and digitize the food supply chain, enhancing efficiency for suppliers and retailers. Manage cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Conduct market research and analyze data related to the food tech and supply chain industries. Provide actionable insights that support the development of Farmio’s technology solutions.
  • Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes across the food distribution network. Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve transparency and workflow efficiency.
  • Communications & Reporting: Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and team members. Ensure consistent communication flow within the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate meetings and maintain relationships with key partners, including food suppliers, retailers, and technology vendors. Prepare meeting materials and ensure that action items are executed.
  • Special Projects: Support the Founder on ad-hoc strategic initiatives such as exploring new markets, forming partnerships, or piloting new technology solutions within the food distribution space.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Founder with daily operation need, and other administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial reports and provide the Founder with actionable insights to support budget planning and investment decisions.
  • Vendor & Account Management: Work closely with the accounting team to manage vendor relationships, track expenses, and oversee accounts payable/receivable.
  • Investment & Fundraising Support: Support the Founder in managing investor relations, participating in fundraising activities, and preparing relevant financial documents and pitches.

Qualifications: What makes you stand out?:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines with 2-4 years of work experience.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
  • Financial literacy, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with technology trends in supply chain management, logistics, or food tech is a plus.
