The Sales and Operations Executive reviews sales targets and performance, manages Point Of Sales (POS) operations systems in-store and supports marketing efforts.

This position oversees Beauty Consultants (BC) including recruitment, training, and performance management.

The Sales and Operations Executive's role also includes analyzing sales data, implementing promotions/incentive plan, and providing feedback on market conditions to drive sales and ensure effective store operations.

Sales Support

1a. Review monthly retail sales targets and performance of each store with the Brand Manager (BM).

1b. Identify and clarify needs/interests of target audience.

2. Incentives Schemes: Work with BM to roll out targets and incentives schemes to drive retail sales.

3. Sales Analysis: Analyze performance of business vs. sales objectives, sales trends, and competition.

4. POS System Management: Oversee daily POS operations, including void transaction(s), system support, etc.

5. Sales Reports: Submit monthly sales reports and sales commentary (including regional store(s) monthly reports).

6a. Support and execute market activation plans to drive retail sales.

6b. Provide feedback on additional exposure opportunity in each store and competitions' threat update.

Supervision and Team Management of Beauty Consultants

1a. Assist BM in recruiting, onboarding, and the management of BC headcount and productivity to ensure sufficient staffing coverage for the stores.

1b. Ensure BCs uphold grooming standards of the brand they represent.

1c. Support BM in resolving store operational issues or challenges.

2a. Conducting store meetings with support from BM.

2b. Set Performance and output Targets for BCs.

2c. Manage the rostering of BCs to ensure optimal staffing levels and smooth operations in stores.

2d. Manage the commission report of BCs.

2e. Assist the BM in supervising and managing communication with BCs.

Provide Training to BCs

1. Train (in-store or virtual) BCs on general selling skills (e.g. how to service customers, how to upsell/cross sell, how to improve one’s productivity).

2. Train BCs on brand stories, flagship products, product benefits, and efficacy.

3. Motivate BCs based on individual talents and skills to drive sales objectives and brand equity.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years sales and operations experience in Beauty Retail industry.

• Good organization and communications skill.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with customers, BCs and internal stakeholders.

• Service oriented.
