Job Responsibilities
- Distill abstract Brand Experience, Festival or Museum concepts and audience needs into refined, elegant creative solutions.
- Originate, sell, craft and launch design concepts that position the Marina Bay Sands brand at the forefront of culture
- Develop clever, insightful ideas that are big enough to span design & exhibition guides as well as experiences, newsworthy activations, social content, video concepts and more.
- Pitch ideas confidently and present their creative vision clearly to internal stakeholders, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of their creative team.
- Expand our existing creative & conceptual opportunities into but not limited to - technology, visual merchandising, pop-ups etc.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, inspiring it and, with it, the wider stakeholder team
- Source, manage and lead internal and external freelancers, artists, designers and/or creatives where necessary.
- Be discerning in your creative judgment, offering a clear and direct point-of-view
- Critically analyses stakeholder feedback & input to understand that which is valid & where we should respectfully push back or re-shape
- Continuously maintain a drive for renewal, experimentation and carefully considered risks by asking smart questions and championing new ideas.
- Help to continuously refine standards, process and procedures to insure continued development of the Brand department
- Take ownership and have a deep sense pride in the work that you and creating for & with the Marina Bay Sands Brand
- Have strong supervisory, people management, and leadership skills in order to lead and inspire, develop, and oversee the wider project team.
- Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Education & Certification
- A fine arts degree (preferred) or an undergraduate degree in graphic design, visual communication, typography, or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6 or more years of creative direction experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience creatively directing complex solutions for digital products.
- A solid grasp of art history, design history, photography and the visual arts, pop culture, and counterculture; fluency in current technology, a deep understanding of the zeitgeist of social tastes and current affairs.

- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
