Job Purpose

To spread the benefits of the Kumon Method of Learning to more children through the recruitment of new franchisees and the development of new Kumon Centres.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Identify and target potential franchisees through various channels, including online marketing and referrals
  • Develop and manage a database of potential franchisees
  • Franchise Information Talk and Franchisee Onboarding
  • Present franchise opportunities, conduct interviews and consultations, provide all necessary information to facilitate decision-making
  • Engage with prospective franchisees to understand their business goals and align them with the company’s brand and vision
  • Training and Development of New Franchisees
  • Coordinate and train new franchisees in the Kumon Method of Learning
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for newly signed franchisees
  • Oversee the development of new franchisees and their Centres in their first 12 months of operation
  • Franchise Development Strategy
  • Develop and implement a franchise development strategy that is aligned with company's expansion goals
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify suitable and high potential region/area for new centre setup
  • Documentation and Compliance
  • Ensuring all franchise agreements, legal documents and regulatory requirements are fulfilled
  • Prepare regular reports on the progress and evaluation of franchise development efforts

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant experience in franchise business is a plus
  • Willingness to travel

Credentials & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution in Business Management / Marketing / Development or a related field
  • Diploma holders with relevant working experiences are welcome to apply
