Role summary :
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various aspects of the supply chain management process. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how products flow from suppliers to customers, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support different stages of the supply chain, including procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management.
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to :
Data Analysis : Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to inventory levels, demand forecasting, lead times, supplier performance, and other key supply chain metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams such as marketing, sales, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the supply chain.
Education : Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management and Business Administration
Expectation of intern :
Analytical Skills : Strong aptitude for data analysis and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point Tools and possibly data visualization software.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
Problem-Solving : Ability to identify supply chain challenges, propose innovative solutions, and drive process improvements.
