Job Description: We are looking for a planner who can manage project planning independently, ideally someone who can take on a leadership role or at least a deputy leader position.

Responsible for coordinating between Project Management Team and Client Project Services team on planning activities associated with the Projects, ensuring effective project planning, scheduling, and coordination to support the successful execution of various initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource plans in alignment with project requirements and contract milestones.
  • Schedule Management: Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, identifying potential risks, delays, and resource constraints. Implement mitigation strategies to address schedule deviations, slippages to optimize project timelines.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project manager and discipline leads to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and milestones, creating required work front in line with planned durations and milestone.
  • Risk Assessment: Contribute to risk assessments profile and analysis to identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and schedule changes. Participate in regular meetings and discussions with construction, engineering, procurement team to ensure alignment and consensus on project priorities and key milestone.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance and efficiency. Monitor project progress against KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  1. Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Oil & Gas FPSO projects and has handled relevant projects as Lead Planner.
  2. Proficiency in developing detailed construction schedules, plans, and timelines.
  3. Experience in coordinating and managing multiple contributory owners (Eng, Proc, SubCon etc) to ensure project milestones are met.
  4. Proficiency in tracking project progress, preparing progress measurement and reports, and adjusting the plan as necessary.
