We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure, including building servers, managing networks, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a passion for IT and a solid foundation in network management and server administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Build and configure servers to meet organisational needs.
  • Monitor and manage network performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems.
  • Ensure data security, identifies cybersecurity risk and recommends appropriate measures/protocols, and system backups.
  • Maintain and update Office Hardware inventory
  • Arrange or conduct IT training for new users or technologies
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
  • Maintain/create user documentation and training materials
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and efficient operations.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide day to day IT support to end-users within the company.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, IT infrastructure, server management, and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of server configuration, network protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with IT maintenance and security practices.
  • Knowledge in networking TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting.
  • Relevant certifications such CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) will have an added advantage.
  • Proficient in managing both Windows and Mac devices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work independently and speak with confidence.
