Manager, Contracts and Tenders, Logistics, APAC

Position Summary/Introduction :

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating tender management activities for APAC region. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure timely delivery of competitive, top quality RFQ / RFI / RFP to achieve corporate goals and business wins.

Key Accountabilities :

1. Lead or support the preparation and submission of tenders for global and regional strategic customers, covering air, ocean, road freight transportation by adhering to Tender Management process.
2. Analyse tender specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses.
3. Coordinate with global/ regional/ country stakeholders and country subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop technical proposals accurately, presenting the best solutions.
4. Oversee all aspects of pre contract by ensuring the responses are properly managed
5. Manage tender bidding records, data and information
6. Support other ad-hoc assignment, pricing analysis and projects
7. Make sure smooth transition to implementation and operation upon business award
8. Provide post-bid analysis for Commercial team, Procurement team and Management review

Qualifications :

1. Degree in Logistics / Business Management or equivalent

Experience :

5 – 8 years related solid tender pricing experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry

Skills :

1. Advanced in Microsoft Office, especially MS-Excel skills. Ability to manage bid & pricing tools efficiently, e.g. Ariba, Jagger, Coupa, Xenata, etc.
2. Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic environment
3. Excellent analytical, planning and numeric skills
