  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Client:

Our client, a global commodity group, is now seeking high caliber risk leader lead the risk function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management Framework: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive risk management framework that includes risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Risk Governance and Leadership: Establish and maintain strong risk governance structures, lead and develop a high-performing risk team, and foster a culture of risk awareness and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely and accurate risk reporting to senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating risk insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in market risk management, within the commodities sector.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in developing and implementing risk policies for commodity trading, encompassing price, FX, counterparty, and credit risks. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and teams to mitigate these risks. Additionally, possess strong team management skills to lead and develop a high-performing risk team.
