Job Description

The Business Analyst will be part of a team that manages product development, implementation and continuous improvement of crew IT applications and systems in Flight Ops Division, Integrated Crew Operations and Planning Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems management, a deep understanding of operational requirements, and a passion for technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Playing a key role in project management, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Review training and qualification records within crew products, identify and redesign systems, processes, and reports for improvements to ensure crew training and qualifications meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Develop user stories and define system objectives and acceptance criteria, ensuring they meet operational and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and software development teams to design and enhance system functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including IT and software development teams to manage product releases.
  • Prepare user requirements and tender specifications for new systems.
  • Prepare and submit cost justification paper to management.
  • Evaluate tender proposals and submit recommendation to management.
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and implement change management plan.
  • Conduct user training and system documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessment and business continuity exercise as required.

Requirements

  • You should possess a recognized University degree, preferably with Honours in Computer Science or Information Science or Technology.
  • Good knowledge in project management, analytical, problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing IT projects and excellent understanding of operational processes and regulatory requirements related to crew management will be an advantage.
  • Entry level candidates with relevant internship experience might be considered
