My client, who are a leading OT (Operational Technology) cybersecurity vendor, providing cutting-edge solutions to secure critical infrastructure, are looking to appoint a solid, Regional Sales Director for the APAC region.

As the Regional Sales Director , you will be responsible for leading new logo sales and business development efforts in the APAC region, focusing on both direct sales and channel/partner recruitment. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders in OT-heavy industries, manage partners, and drive revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales plans.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the APAC market, cybersecurity solutions, and proven experience in channel/partner sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy for the APAC market, focusing on both direct sales and driving revenue through channel partners.
  • Own the sales pipeline, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and closing high-value deals with enterprise customers and partners.
  • Lead pipeline development, qualify sales leads, and facilitate successful business closures to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee all sales-related activities, ensuring quota achievement through effective strategies and collaboration with partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and SDR teams to create and execute region-specific campaigns and business initiatives.

Customer and Partner Recruitment & Management:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners in the APAC region to support business growth and expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, providing ongoing support, training, and resources to ensure successful collaboration.
  • Conduct joint customer meetings with partners to strengthen relationships and align efforts for success.
  • Work closely with partners to create joint business plans that align with company objectives.

Market Expansion:

  • Lead the expansion of the business in the APAC region, increasing revenue and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in the OT cybersecurity market within the region.
  • Develop strategies to address regional-specific challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Lead negotiations with enterprise customers and channel partners on contracts, pricing, and terms.
  • Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with company policies and goals.

Reporting & Collaboration:

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of sales metrics using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as product, marketing, and customer success—to ensure alignment and deliver value to customers and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a strong background in channel/partner sales management within the cybersecurity industry. Experience with OT cybersecurity solutions is highly preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets in the APAC region, with experience selling complex solutions to large enterprises and through channel partners.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep understanding of the OT cybersecurity landscape, including experience working with industries such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, and transportation.
  • Network: Established relationships with major OEMs, cybersecurity vendors, and decision-makers in OT-heavy industries across the APAC region.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Ability to engage senior-level executives, understand their security challenges, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead negotiations and close large enterprise deals.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipelines, forecast sales, and report on performance.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed to meet customers and partners.
