Beep is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up building universal automation platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT). Headquartered in Singapore, we help power millions of transactions across the ASEAN region. Since our first product launch in end 2019, we have grown to serve a wide variety of retailers, agencies and vendors in over 5 countries, supporting more than 36 million transactions across several thousand touch-points. Our IOT platform is extensively used across multiple industry segments, and we have established a strong reputation as a trusted provider of seamless, interoperable connectivity bridging commercial IoT systems to digital platforms including payments, analytics, authentications and more.

Across the unattended retail & eMobility markets, our platform:

  • Records and powers over 1,000,000 transactions per month in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines through Vending Machines, supporting over 30 payment wallets in Southeast Asia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries through various communication channels (phone message, email, call etc.) To Identify, investigate, and resolve client issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist to ensure daily operations of our IOT payments platform runs smoothly for all clients. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported by customers, providing prompt and accurate solutions. To collaborate closely with technical team to resolve more complex issues, when required.
  • Train and assist customers on the usage of Beep’s software and hardware platform across various configurations and devices
  • Enforce test cases and ensure new and existing features perform as they should when shipped out to live users by keeping track of internal deliverables and timelines
  • Coordinate amongst various stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment, including but not limited to manufacturers, payment providers, software services and customers
  • Maintain, prepare, and track hardware inventory provided by Beep to its customers to ensure proper delivery
  • Perform administrative support as requested by our Customer Success, Technical or Finance teams

Requirements:

  • A degree, diploma or equivalent practical experience in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Software Management or related fields.
  • High degree of expertise with using enterprise software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams and others.
  • Familiarity or past experience in operational or support roles for software and/or hardware is a strong plus
  • Good knack for communicating and educating complex technical ideas to non-technical people
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to commit at least 3 months, starting end of Dec 2024/start of Jan 2025
