The SEA Inventory Executive is primarily responsible for warehouse and logistics management, ensuring the smooth operation of material receiving, dispatching, inventory management, and transfer processing. The role involves effective supplier management, third-party warehouse coordination, logistics information synchronization, and handling exceptions to improve operational efficiency and cost control.

The ideal candidate should possess strong warehouse operation monitoring skills, data management abilities, and system operation capabilities to achieve efficient inventory management and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure physical stock matches the inventory management system records.
  • Replenish stock based on demand forecasts, ensuring timely procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

2. Data Accuracy and Reporting:

  • Input and update inventory data in the system, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular inventory status updates to management and relevant departments.

3. Coordination and Communication:

  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of inventory items

4. Inventory Control:

  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Manage and oversee stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure the freshness and quality of products.
  • Develop and enforce guidelines for inventory handling and storage to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor the warehouse operation process to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of all procedures.

5. System and Process Optimization:

  • Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management.
  • Continuously optimize warehouse and logistics operations processes to improve overall operational efficiency and reduce operational costs.

6. Risk Management:

  • Monitor inventory for any potential risks, such as expiration dates, damages, or obsolescence.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and reduce inventory holding costs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Import and Export, Supply Chain Management, or Warehouse Management.
  • More than three years of relevant work experience in import and export, international logistics, warehouse management, and local distribution.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in food and beverage is preferred.
  • High level of responsibility and attention to detail, capable of maintaining patience and accuracy in a complex work environment.
  • Able to operate ERP systems, WM and OMS.
