  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

A global technology leader is seeking a strategic Procurement Category Manager to optimise their worldwide sourcing and procurement processes. You will play a key role in developing and implementing category strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing supplier relationships to drive business success. You will focus on the LED / OLED category being the subject-matter expert to advise stakeholders across business units.

Your new role

  • Develop and execute global category strategies for short, medium, and long-term needs.
  • Monitor market trends and identify innovative sourcing solutions to enhance product competitiveness in relation to LED / OLED.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make informed make/buy decisions.
  • Manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance and contract optimisation.
  • Lead complex negotiations, including international contracts and import/export considerations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 5 years of procurement experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related
  • Experience in managing display commodities, security systems, access control, or power products
  • Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional matrix organisation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel at least 5 times a year within the region to meet with suppliers
