We are seeking an experienced technologist with expertise in overall IT service management for operation and maintenance (O&M) in the areas of cybersecurity, end-to-end infrastructure management, and application services, which are outsourced to third-party service providers. A hands-on role that requires the applicant to possess holistic thought leadership to assist the Deputy Director, Information Technology across areas of technology, service, and people management.
Job Responsibilities
- Technological operations support needs and requirements to meet business needs in an agile environment.
- Operationalisation of IT policies and IT standard operating procedures (SOP) in alignment with organisational objectives.
- Evaluation, qualification, and management of contracts with partners, vendors, and technology providers.
- Management of third party service providers to deliver quality cybersecurity, end-to-end infrastructure, communications and application services across business areas to meet the business needs of e2i.
- Management of outsourcing vendors to ensure that (a) contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered by vendors/service providers; (b) contracts continually meet e2i business needs; (c) vendors’ performance is monitored and delivered in accordance to contractual obligations and service-level agreements; and (d) project risks are properly mitigated and managed.
- Delivery of excellent services to business users in ensuring smooth delivery and operations of all IT services.
- Managing and resolving of issues and incidents in all aspects of IT, Data and Cybersecurity.
- Implementation, monitoring, and review of IT general and access controls.
- Management of IT and Data governance, risks and compliances strategies, Cybersecurity, IT DR/BCP, and IT Audits.
- Development and management of a high-performance team to achieve organisational objectives.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer / Computer Science or Engineering or Business or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in a hands-on managerial role.
- Strong understanding of ICT industry landscape and the different players.
- Good working knowledge of industrial best practices, system, processes, methodologies and frameworks such as ITIL, Agile PMP, NIST, ISO27001 etc.
- Good working knowledge in IT governance and risk referencing to CGEIT and CRISC.
- Good working knowledge in information security domains referencing to CISSP.
- Good technical knowledge in areas but not limited to cloud computing (Azure and AWS), Microsoft O365, end-to end infrastructure, cybersecurity.
- Strong user management and customer servicing skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven IT project/outsourcing management and team leadership skills.
- Effective communicator with people at all levels.
- Prior experiences in leading a team would be advantageous.
Designation and salary will commensurate with experience.
