Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Development Support Specialist to provide essential administrative and operational support to our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our new business pipeline and facilitating effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • This is a part time role for 3-4 months*

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and provide insights to the business development team.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Assist in preparing basic pricing and pitch proposals for prospective clients.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to create compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Pipeline Management:
    • Maintain and update the business development pipeline, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Track and report on the status of leads, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Internal Coordination:
    • Facilitate internal communication to generate interest and support for pitching inbound leads.
    • Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
    • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Assist in managing client inquiries and maintaining positive client relationships.
    • Support the team in organizing and attending client meetings and events.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain organized records of proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents.
    • Prepare regular reports and tracking on business development activities and outcomes.
Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a business development or administrative support role.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
