A global beauty/personal care brand client is looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager to join its regional team in Singapore.

Reporting to the regional GM, this hands-on position will be the key success enabler of the Brand to the Asia local partners (the likes of retailers, distributors, franchisees) in driving brand love, business profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with local markets' partners (the likes of retailers, distributors, franchisees) to develop and execute successful business plans
  • Collaborate with partners on business plans to align with the Brand's global strategy
  • Analyse business data (incl. retail KPIs, sell-in, sell-out, sell-through, margin), market trends, and consumer insights to propose business actions to achieve targets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with Marcoms, VM, CRM, Ecom, Supply Chain, Training, amongst others) to provide a comprehensive and tailored support to the different local markets to achieving operational excellence and business targets
  • Conduct frequent market visit to the key local market partners to understand the unique market nuances and identify business opportunities

Key requirements

  • Min. 7+ years of experience in the retail, consumer, or beauty industry with expertise in managing B2B2C relationships (retailers, distributors, franchisees)
  • Demonstrated track record successes in working through people in achieving business and sales targets
  • Effective internal and external stakeholders' management
  • Results-oriented with a passion for excellence
  • Self-starter who thrives in an individual contributor role, with potential for future team leadership
