You will support projects or research to support global tax strategies, assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, and provide counsel to the business and commercial units.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Support projects and research related to global tax strategies for the region. You will also assist in M&A due diligence and tax planning.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in Tax at Mondelez International. You will also ensure that relevant corporate tax policies are understood in the region and that proper controls and compliance are in place.
  • Provide tax counsel to the region business and commercial units on significant transactions.
  • Develop and continually improve standard direct tax planning processes and ways of working.
  • Contribute to a high-performing region Tax team. You will also invest in personal development and contribute to the overall development of peers.
  • Provide strategic review of transfer pricing documentation and tax accounting.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in relevant tax laws and regulations; tax policy, procedures, and strategies; and transfer pricing norms.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business and finance beyond the tax scope. Relevant direct tax experience.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering and communication skills across a large global, public company.
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify strategic opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.
