We are seeking an experienced Paralegal / Contract Manager to join our legal team, supporting our rapidly growing digital infrastructure business across the APAC region. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the APAC General Counsel, providing critical support in managing contracts and legal matters. As part of a dynamic, high-growth company backed by a leading US private equity firm, you will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional development and cross-border collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supplier agreements, and service contracts.
- Assist the APAC General Counsel in managing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal documentation for the region.
- Maintain and manage the company’s contract lifecycle management system, ensuring all contracts are accurately tracked and organized.
- Provide support in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, due diligence, and other transactional matters.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., finance, operations, business development) to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or reports on relevant legal and regulatory developments.
- Assist in managing external counsel and coordinating legal resources for specific projects.
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying potential legal risks and recommending mitigations.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, Contract Manager, or in a similar legal role.
- Strong experience in contract management, particularly in technology, real estate, or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, and transactional work
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience working in multinational or US-headquartered companies is a plus.
