Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art algorithms and models for protein structure prediction and analysis.
  • Utilize deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to design and train novel protein language models.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate bioinformatics methods into biological research projects.
  • Analyze and interpret high-throughput biological data, including next-generation sequencing and structural biology data.
  • Contribute to the development of software tools and pipelines for protein structure prediction and analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, machine learning, and protein structure prediction methods.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Proficiency in molecular visualization software, preferably PyMOL, for protein structure analysis.
  • Demonstrated interest in protein structure and protein language models, with a focus on applying computational methods to solve biological problems.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing and language models is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Previous research experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related fields is highly desirable.
