Reporting to the Group Head of SME Banking, you will be responsible for designing, building, and bringing to market (GTM) bundled propositions across operating accounts, deposits, payments, and unsecured lending for Micro and Small Business segments. Your focus will be on addressing the needs, pain points, and target personas of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling customer value propositions (CVPs) and drive superior financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
  • Lead the design and development of bundled propositions tailored to SME banking.
  • Identify and address the needs and pain points of SME customers to create differentiated offerings.
  • Market Leadership:
  • Drive the GTM for the assigned portfolio, ensuring the CVPs and features of the bundled propositions are competitive and meet the needs of SME customers.
  • Differentiate our offerings from competitors by leveraging insights into customer needs and market trends.
  • Financial Performance:
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Product, and Risk teams to ensure superior financial performance, including customer acquisition, income generation, balance sheet management, and risk management for allocated segments and product bundles.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), and Operations teams to ensure timely development of CVPs and user stories for bundled propositions.
  • Work closely with Partnerships, Channel Management, and Digital Marketing teams to champion the GTM strategy with a focus on acquisition and building a strong customer base.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related roles, with a focus on financial services for SME banking.
  • Deep knowledge of SME banking products including operating accounts, deposits, payments, and unsecured lending
  • Proven track record in designing and launching successful financial products and propositions for SMEs
  • Strong understanding of the SME banking segment, including their needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across departments.
