As the Marketing Specialist for ASEAN and the Greater China Region (GCR) at Databricks, you will be responsible for creating and executing programs that drive the pipeline to support Databricks’ explosive growth in Singapore and key markets in ASEAN and GCR.

You will have a demonstrable track record of success in partnering with business stakeholders, building a brand and category, and driving business growth from the start-up phase, and will collaborate cross-functionally to execute scalable marketing campaigns across multiple industries, account segments, and channels. You will also enjoy developing strong relationships with regional and global team members and thrive on creating innovative campaigns. This is a contract position with a potential extension or conversion.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Develop compelling targeted marketing tactics that successfully engage target segments, and accounts across multiple sources, from Databricks events, and campaigns, to external trade shows and joint partner marketing programs
  • Create and maintain metrics on program and investment effectiveness as well as generate insights from data to continuously improve campaign strategies
  • Collaborate and forge strong communications and partnerships with the business, sales, field engineering, and partner teams
  • Deliver and exceed metrics for qualified leads, opportunities, and revenue
  • Improve funnel metrics from MQL to opportunity, and opportunity to closed won
  • Orchestrate program execution and alignment across global/APJ marketing teams, in-region XDR, and country sales teams

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing
  • Track record in high growth, technology, or SaaS start-ups
  • 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in field marketing, and marketing communications; including event management, campaign management, partner marketing, and community building
  • Strong understanding of funnel metrics and levers to move the needle on generating qualified leads, accelerating opportunity and pipeline velocity.
  • Experience in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement
  • Strong project management and communications skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and drive alignment and execution across groups
  • Able to perform under pressure, prioritize, and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation
  • A fast learner and adapts quickly to new technology and information
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data, generate insights, and translate it into actionable changes
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems (e.g Marketo) and ability to navigate Salesforce and Tableau to pull reports on specific campaigns and understand the status of leads in the funnel
